Courses Offered

Pre-Calculus 10

Exponent laws, linear functions and slope, systems of equations, polynomials and factoring, and right-triangle trigonometry (sine, cosine, tangent).

Pre-Calculus 11

Radicals and rational exponents, quadratic functions and equations, rational expressions, inequalities, sine and cosine laws, and the unit circle.

Pre-Calculus 12

Function transformations and inverses, exponential and logarithmic functions, polynomial and rational functions, and trigonometry in radians.

Grade 5 Math

Numbers to 1,000,000, decimals and equivalent fractions, multiplication and division, area and perimeter, geometry, and graphing data.

Grade 6 Math

Place value to billions, order of operations, fractions and mixed numbers, ratios and percents, volume and capacity, and the Cartesian plane.

Grade 7 Math

Integers, decimals, fractions, ratios and percents, linear relations and equations, circle geometry, probability, and financial math.

Who teaches the classes?

Our tutors are Luqman and Tariq. Luqman, a physics degree holder with 2 years of experience tutoring senior math and science, leads the Pre-Calculus 10–12 support. Tariq, an IB Diploma Programme student, provides one-on-one math help for grades 5–7.

What time are sessions?

Pre-Calculus sessions run in the evening, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Each session is 1 hour. Elementary school sessions are on weekends. Exact times will be confirmed based on enrollment.

Where are classes held?

Classes are in person at North Vancouver libraries. The exact branch will be confirmed before the program begins.

What happens after I register?

After you submit the registration form, one of our tutors will contact you by text to confirm details.

Is this one-on-one tutoring?

Yes, one-on-one is our specialty. We are also open to group sessions at discounted individual rates upon request.
